I haven’t done an IDL List post in awhile. So, if you’re new to the blog, here’s the rundown. Basically, I share brands and products I love using for weddings and events because I think you’ll love them too. Turkish-T is one of those companies that I obsess over. Every product they sell has me drooling and clicking “Add to Cart”. If you haven’t heard of Turkish-T before, they sell a variety of home products, mainly towels, made of Agean cotton. They’re incredibly soft, timelessly beautiful, and have this natural, organic flair that’s just swoon worthy.
I don’t love Turkish-T for the reasons you might be thinking though. Don’t get me wrong, I definitely encourage you to add a few to your registry. But, I love using Turkish towels as linen toppers. Yep, you read that right. When it comes to specialty linens for events, there is a real gap in the market. If custom linens aren’t an option (they aren’t for most people), your selection is pretty limited to non-existent. Especially if you’re going for a more natural look. Sequins and rosettes have their place, but they just aren’t right for every wedding.
I have spent countless hours scouring the internet and talking with industry friends to try and find a company that produces a specialty linens for event purposes – meaning, linens that are designed to fit rental tables. Unfortunately, it just doesn’t exist. When you’re trying to achieve a custom look on your tables, toppers are a great option. You can rent your standard polyester under linen to cover the table to the floor. Then add a topper or runner that matches your colors and esthetic to give your decor a one-of-a-kind look that fits your budget. If you go ga-ga for that easy breezy naturally beautiful style like I do, then I highly suggest you click here and visit Turkish-T immediately. When you do, you’ll be investing in pieces you can use not only at your wedding, but throughout your life together.
