I love a soft color palette as much as the next girl. While I try to pretend to be all about the fun, bright colors, all I really want is all white everything. Good news is, neutrals have been all the rage the last couple of years in weddings with blush taking center stage. But, here’s the big truth bomb. I’m really over the blush. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a beautiful color. I’m just ready for a change.

Secretly I’m hoping the neutrals trend doesn’t go anywhere for a real long time. But, I think it’s time to shake it up. Today, I’ve put together three fresh, soft neutral palettes that will leave you wondering why you even considered blush in the first place.

Sea Mist, Ivory and Navy

Yes, blue, especially navy, is a neutral. That could be my affinity for anything blue speaking, but I’m sticking to it. Pairing the statement shade with ivory and a soft mint/robin’s egg blue gives a romantic, timeless feel to your color palette. I would use this palette all year long because all blue all the time. But, it does lean a bit more towards spring and summer.

Neutral Color Palettes for Fall

Slate, Cloud and White

Oh y’all! This palette is like the modern twist on classic black and white. It definitely has an upscale feel. Paired with loads of greenery, luscious white blooms and a glass of champagne, it’s a perfect soft neutral palette for a fall or winter wedding.

Neutral Color Palettes for Fall

Pine, Ivory and Elephant Gray

Greenery is still huge in the flower world. In fact, it’s another trend I hope doesn’t go away for a real long time. I love love love the idea of this rich hue that plays neutral taking part in your big day. Keeping the majority of the decor gray and ivory with accents of pine feels very romantic and luxurious.
