To be totally honest, I have a love hate relationship with styled shoots. On the one hand, they’re gorgeous and full of some of the most amazing details. On the other hand, because they’re completely stylized the details are often unachievable by the average couple. Since my goal is to share inspiration with you that’s both beautiful and attainable, I rarely publish styled shoots, the exception being they’re just too perfect not to share.
I was originally drawn to the shoot because of the bold color selections. The eye catching shades of pinks and burgundy with accents of black is an out of the box but chic and classic selection. But, after looking through the full gallery I love how this team of talented creatives used vintage furniture pieces and unique decor to define the space.
I’m also loving how unique they went with attire choices. The hot pinked dipped lace wedding gown gives the perfect amount of flair to the timeless silhouette of the dress. Pairing a classic black bridesmaid dress with it gave great balance to the attire.
I would have to say my favorite element from this shoot though was their table decor. The hand lettered kraft paper runner is an inexpensive but impactful touch. Not many people opt for paper runners but in this setting, it’s absolutely perfect. Topped with colored glass, an oversized (and gorgeous) centerpiece and dessert bowls of fresh blackberries at each seat completed this eye catching set-up.
